Small Batch Dry Vintage Perry
This is a truly special expression of the 2022 Perry pear crop, hand-harvested (by us!), and one which we all keep taking home. Quietly tucked away to bottle condition for over 18 months, the natural carbonation delivers Champagne-like effervescence, alongside the refreshing acidity of Thorn pears that make up the majority of the blend.
There’s a little natural sweetness due to the presence of un-fermentable sugars in perry pears, but be under no illusions, this is a beautifully dry and more-ish drop! Perfect for a good charcuterie board, and with a soft goat’s cheese and prosciutto in particular, our Vintage Perry will make a fine addition to your evening. Trust us; our, ahem, rigorous quality control has confirmed this over the last 18 months!

For the love of Perry!
Perry is a true labour of love for us, as we do our bit to keep this wonderful part of our country’s cider-making heritage alive. Perry pear trees are often up to 300 years old, but have been disappearing at an alarming rate.
Banish any memories of Babycham or Swedish pear cider, Perry can be an absolutely fantastic drink, capable of offering flavour and complexity to rival fine wine. It’s something that Allen and Shaun are super passionate about here at Hogan’s, and we think this 2022 Vintage is tasting particularly good!
The limited supply of perry pears means that unfortunately there’s not much to go around however. We were only able to bottle 60 cases of the 2022 Vintage, and we don’t expect them to last long. Over a third have already been pre-sold to trade customers…
